FUNNY STORIES OF LOVE AND LIFE AFTER 40 Okay now that I am a lady of a certain stage and age, I kinda know what I want........ A partner to canoodle with, and just be. I'm not a cougar, what's up with that anyway, men have ALWAYS dated younger and nobody seems to mind that great grandpa is dating a girl young enough to be his granddaughter? I like younger men between 38-48 only because some of them are open to new ideas, I don't need a daddy, maybe a big daddy, but not somebody so set they won't bend, is that soooo hard, and the last two age appropriate guys had already been married and had no interest in ever doing it again, so if you know i'm a marrying gal, why waste "OUR" time. I'm taking a pause for the cause....Cause I'm tired. I will not waste anymore of my time on guys with a different path than I. I think back and I have wasted time on giving love and passion and all that good stuff to those guys who I wasn't their number 1, it happens, oh they cared, blah blah blah, but still I wasn't the number one choice, so they were always looking, so I've decided if I can't be the Number one Don Diva Mack Momma, I'll pass, I can keep working on me and the one can find me, I'm sure he's out there, so I'm being still and patient.

George Floyd

So a journalist wrote a scathing piece of the life history of George Floyd. It listed out every mistake and poor choice he made during his life. There were many. The journalist then said no he didn’t deserve to die, nor did he deserve a day, an invite to the White House and blah blah blah. I reflected on the words of the journalist and then, there is was glaring up at me. Blindness, you still fail to see that, this poor soul became a martyr due to the fact you refuse to see blue violence for what it is too often. The bullying, the hate of those communities which they feel are under them. Young children have fallen prey while playing with their toys, good citizens, sleeping, sitting, walking, driving, just existing, all while being Black or a person of color, you are continually blinded by your willful ignorance to believe there is a PROBLEM. I, us, didn't ask for a ...DAY. We asked for voting rights!, We ask for reforms, We asked for our narrative to be included in history, we asked for equal. We didn't ask for a day for they, them, those to hi-jack and make a car, or white sale. We ask that Justice for All, include us in the All. We celebrated the day by ourselves, we didn't extend no invitations and say come on board! It was just our thing, but randomly, ooh let's give them a day? It's like dating someone seriously for a while and when the time for committment arrives, you ask for an engagement ring and they give you a necklace..
