FUNNY STORIES OF LOVE AND LIFE AFTER 40 Okay now that I am a lady of a certain stage and age, I kinda know what I want........ A partner to canoodle with, and just be. I'm not a cougar, what's up with that anyway, men have ALWAYS dated younger and nobody seems to mind that great grandpa is dating a girl young enough to be his granddaughter? I like younger men between 38-48 only because some of them are open to new ideas, I don't need a daddy, maybe a big daddy, but not somebody so set they won't bend, is that soooo hard, and the last two age appropriate guys had already been married and had no interest in ever doing it again, so if you know i'm a marrying gal, why waste "OUR" time. I'm taking a pause for the cause....Cause I'm tired. I will not waste anymore of my time on guys with a different path than I. I think back and I have wasted time on giving love and passion and all that good stuff to those guys who I wasn't their number 1, it happens, oh they cared, blah blah blah, but still I wasn't the number one choice, so they were always looking, so I've decided if I can't be the Number one Don Diva Mack Momma, I'll pass, I can keep working on me and the one can find me, I'm sure he's out there, so I'm being still and patient.

IT WAS A GOOD WEEKEND

This was a good weekend, summer fun fest, bbq cook out and games for all, the only thing missing was ...you know, but as long as I avoid sad songs and sappy movies, I should be okay, my legs hurt, my accupressure gal says it's cause I'm worried about a man, could be, yea it is. It's been a while. Meanwhile back at the ranch I'm resisting temptation to call an ex, or get involved with the next. I'm giving me some me time, trying create a new career for me, that pays well, I'm good at what I do and somewhere somebody will pay me well for it, then I can get some new digs to live in and watch my babies grow well. So I've outlined my goals and other than a good dye job to my hair and keep exercising to avoid the broken heart= fatty food syndrome, I plan to meditate with God, and do what I always do..keep movin.

Harlots

So, I like to watch period pieces, it's like the other side of harlequin historical romance books. I happened upon the series Harlots on HULU, It gave me a view of the darker side in visual. Being a women in what they called the "age of romance" was a myth. Besides having questionable hygene issues, women were often just pawns and objects to be moved and traded about. Any woman who didn't have a husband or a "man" to control her money was just a object. It had to be hard being an actual true blue woman, especially back then, not to mention if you were on the other side of man/woman, add black to it and the plot thickens, those in the UK had to be wary of slave stealers, who would kidnap africans and send them to the america where they got paid -0 to do EVERYTHING. ROMANCE

Strange and funny times we are in...something the air so horrid that even a touch for too long a moment could result in disaster. So now that some, SOME people are getting the vaccine and or being super hero careful,some parts of the world are moving forward, but what about romance? I'm thinking who is gonna be out here kissing and smashing all random now? I shudder to think about adult entertainers. Probing questions will really need to go about personal health and responsibility that YOLO group leaves much to be desired.
