Get Back to Work!

So Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, Dollar General are worth 8.5 BILLION they made over 7 BILLION IN 2020. So now these same stores, are on a whine a thon about not having enough workers? The employees are woefully underpaid. My walkable locations have lost Great people, because they had families to support and that 8.25 to 9.25 per hour pays no rent very few if any actually get 40 hours a week, the work is demanding, so many boxes, so many people to deal with, most don't have a security agent inside. But hey let's make people go back to work with no incentive, I immagine they just can't wait to get back to deal with the rude people of today. These companies open in neighborhoods that are low income, many of them are walkable, so ideally you would have enough worker bees to employ, But this is Pandemic World, things have changed. Rent has gone up, food has gone up, but they still hold firmly to that paltry 8.25 per hour, I'm confused, White Castle is offering 15 per hour and they pay weekly, they struggled to stay open, but I watched that manager, whip a crew together, space them out assign them to tasks and she kept it moving. How do I know this, because a child of mine worked there during the pandemic, she stopped because I was at risk and we live in small quarters, she is looking for work in her field now, but they did mail her correspondence with some incentive and she is considering going back until her field opens up again? Why? because she got her hours to pay rent, she will be making a decent pay. All these big CEO's crying a river about people getting unemployment. Compete then offer 15/40, do something other than run your rich blowhole to those who make the least, who struggle the most and tell them to come back for 8.25 and maybe 20 hours and then have to deal with angry bird customers who many lost all their manners during this time at home. These workers proved to be ESSENTIAL for all of us, so they should be paid accordingly. Happy employers make profit, work harder, go the extra mile. I irks me to see the media post on about how all these places need workers, well let's think, if they are making enough now to pay their rent and life essentials, that's what they need moving forward. I don't want to hear about the sloths who are doing nothing. These types will never change, I've worked with sloths so stop talking about it, instead let's talk about INCENTIVE, PAY THEM, PAY THEM WELL.
